For those with bookings up to and until 30 April 2020:

Rebooking:

If you wish to rebook to a later date, the supplier will provide a 20% discount off the rate for your new booking, and no rebooking fees for new travel dates up until 30 June 2021. If you wish to defer your travel but cannot yet specify a future travel date, the value of your cancellation fees can be used as a credit toward your new booking, in addition to applying a 20% discount to the new booking. This future booking can be with any THL brand in New Zealand, Australia or the USA, for travel up until 30 June 2021.

Cancellation:

Cancellation fees will be waived for all those due to pick up in New Zealand between 25 March and 2 April 2020, across the Maui, Britz and Mighty brands.

Apollo - Star RV, Apollo, Cheapa, Real Value, Hippie

For those who have booked prior to 18 March:

If you are travelling to/from a country which has official travel ban and are not able to travel to your Apollo destination, the cancellation policy is as follows:

If you wish to cancel without rebooking, standard cancellation fees apply.

You can rebook to a future date from now till June 2021, and the value of your current booking will be credited to you for use on the new trip. 

For those booking between 18 March and 30 April 2020, for the travel period up to 31 October:

If government travel restrictions due to COVID-19 make your journey impossible, rebooking to another date up to 31 March 2022 will be allowed.

Road Runner Rentals

For those wishing to cancel their booking, Road Runner Rentals will continue to hold the value of the hire as credit for a period of 12 months.

Travellers Autobarn Comet Campers NZ

For those due to pick up before 1 January 2021:

Anyone who wishes to defer, change dates or postpone travel can do so for free. The full value of your current booking can be transferred to any future booking if you make changes before 30 April 2020.

Cancellations:

If you cancel from today up to 8 days of pick-up date: $200 cancellation fee (amount can be credited to a future booking).

If cancelling within 7 days of pick-up date: 50% of total rental cost (amount can be credited to a future booking).

If cancelled on the day of pick-up or non-appearance: No refund on total cost of rental (amount can be applied to a future booking).

Lucky Rentals

Free cancellation available if official travel restrictions apply to your destination. You can amend your booking to a future date free of charge.

If you wish, you can defer your booking to a new date up to 31 March 2021.

Any cancelled bookings will receive equal value credit toward a new booking in the next 12 months.

Escape

If you are unable to travel due to official travel restrictions, you are able to cancel free of charge. Those affected in this way can also modify their booking free of charge.

RV Shop

Standard cancellation terms currently apply. If your booking is cancelled more than 14 days prior to the collection date, you are entitled to a 50% refund. No refund will be given if bookings are cancelled within 14 days of the collection date, and no refund will be given for late collection or early return of the vehicle.

You can amend your booking free of charge to any date up to 30 April 2021. If you do not rebook within this period, you will receive no refunds.

Rebooking:

You can postpone your trip free of charge to a later date within the same calendar year. The price of the new booking must be at least as high as the price of the original booking.

You can amend your rental to any time within the next 24 months, with rates of the new booking dates applicable.

If you wish to cancel your booking, any deposit paid will be non-refundable, and standard cancellation policy will apply.

Cancellation fees will be waived for customers (except Australian residents where domestic travel is not currently affected) due to pick up in Australia in the next 48 hours from now, across the Maui, Britz and Mighty brands.

Apollo - Star RV, Apollo, Cheapa, Real Value, Hippie

For those who have booked prior to 18 March:

Cruisin/Go Cheap AU

Due to the introduction of COVID-19 travel restrictions, including the self-isolation requirements, the following cancellation policy now applies:

Standard cancellation fees apply for all cancellations, including those due to pick up today.

If you would like to defer travel but are unsure when you want to move your travel dates to, you will be allowed to use the value of the existing booking towards a future booking. A credit will be held against the existing booking until new travel dates are set. The booking can be transferred to any Cruisin location (Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, or Cairns) regardless of where your original booking was due to pick up.

Let's Go AU

Travelling in the next 30 days (from today's date):

Normal cancellation policy applies.

If you wish to move your travel dates, you can do so with a $0 amendment fee. If you wish to cancel, you can use your cancellation fee against a future booking made in the next 18 months.

Travelling in 31 days or more (from today's date):

Normal cancellation policy applies. The $100 cancellation fee can be used against a future booking made in the next 18 months.

For all international travellers:

Any international customers with pick ups up to 30 April 2020 not able to enter Australia due to official travel restrictions will receive a full deposit refund.

Lucky Rentals

Free cancellation is available for any bookings affected by official travel restrictions or bans, and you can amend your booking to a future date for free.

Tasmania Campers

Bookings can be transferred to a new date up to 20 December 2020. If you wish to cancel, standard cancellation fees apply.

Leisurerent

For any cancellations made within 30 days of pick up, any money paid for the rental can be used as credit for a future rental with Leisurerent within the following 12 months.

For any cancellation made more than 30 days prior to travel time, a full refund will be offered.

Awesome campers

For those affected by COVID-19, all new bookings will receive free cancellation 7 days prior to pick up date. This offer runs until further notice.

For all those with bookings made prior to March 18, who can no longer travel due to government imposed travel restrictions, your booking will still fall under the supplier’s original cancellation policy. However, in this case you will be able to hold a credit for up to 12 months.

If you are not affected by COVID-19, standard cancellation policy applies.

Calypso/Energi Motorhomes AU

The standard cancellation policy applies to all bookings made before 14 April 2020. For any bookings made after this date, you can change your booking date at no charge to any time within the next 18 months.

Kangaroo Campers

Any bookings already paid for will not be refunded. 

Any bookings for those who live outside of Australia which are still unpaid will be cancelled as required with no penalty.

Standard cancellation policies apply for those who live in Australia.

For cancellation more than 14 days prior to pick up date: 50% of rental due.

For cancellation within 14 days of pick up date: full rental due.

Big Sky AU

The supplier is offering refunds on cancellation as per their standard terms and conditions. Alternatively, you can have them hold the told value of the money you’ve paid in credit for the rental of another vehicle, within 12 months of your cancellation date.

Spaceships AU

Normal cancellation policy:
(a) If cancelled within 7 days of making the booking (the date on booking confirmation), the cancellation is free of charge and you'll receive a full refund.
(b) If cancelled after 7 days of making the booking but before 7 days prior to the day of pick-up, the cancellation fee is 20% of the total rental fee.
(c) If cancelled between 6 and 1 days prior to the day of pick-up, the cancellation fee is 50% of the total rental fee.
(d) if cancelled on the day of pick-up aka a no-show, you must pay us 100% of the rental fee (full payment).

Normal cancellation fees apply to all bookings.

Cancellation fees can be held in credit until the end of 2021 to be used as a future booking in New Zealand, Australia or the United Kingdom.

Alternatively customers can change their booking dates free of charge (new rates will apply).

Bargain / Energi Campers

Those wishing to defer their travel will have the option of credit for future travel. The standard 30 day cancellation fee is also being dropped for those affected by official travel restrictions.

Tassie Motor Shacks

If your travel has been affected by COVID-19, all cancellation fees will be waived and your deposit returned.

USA

Apollo - Star RV, Apollo

For those travelling to the USA from countries with government restrictions, with pick up dates up to 30 April 2020:

If you wish to cancel with no rebooking, cancellation fees will be waived. If you wish to rebook to a future date in the 2020 season, the value of your current booking will credited for you to use on the new trip.

You can rebook and use a credit for any other Apollo destination (New Zealand, Australia, Canada and Germany.

Cruise America

Cancellations:  For all Cruise America and Cruise Canada departures booked to depart through to 31 May 2020, Cruise America and Cruise Canada will waive ALL cancellation fees. For bookings departing after 31 May 2020, standard cancellation fees apply.

Reservations Changes and Re-bookings (with 20% discount!):  For all departures during this period (for international travelers affected) booked to depart through to 31 May 2020, you can rebook and receive a 20% discount on the rates and mileage.

Travellers Autobarn Comet Campers USA

THL - El Monte/Mighty/Road Bear/Star Drive USA/Compass Campers USA

For those due to pick up between now and 30 April 2020:

Free amendments available, with a 20% discount on the nightly rate for any new travel date up until 31 October 2021. If you are not yet able to choose an alternative date, you can hold a credit on file and use the 20% discount for a hire with one of THL’s brands in New Zealand, Australia or the USA.

For existing bookings picking up in the USA between now and 30 April 2020, all cancellation fees will be waived.

Cancellation fees will be waived for EU customers affected by government imposed travel restrictions.

Jucy USA

Standard cancellation fees apply for travel from now until 30 April 2020.

If you decide to defer travel, you can use the value of your current booking towards a future booking up until 31 March 2021 - credit will be held against your existing booking number until new dates are determined. If your new booking is of a lower value, no refund will be offered for the price difference. For those currently hiring, no refund is offered for an early return.

Escape Campervans

Cancellation fees will be waived for those who cannot travel due to official travel restrictions. Those affected can rebook without amendment fees.

CANADA

Cruise Canada

Cancellations:  For all Cruise America and Cruise Canada departures booked to depart through to 31 May 2020, Cruise America and Cruise Canada will waive ALL cancellation fees. For bookings departing after 31 May 2020, standard cancellation fees apply.

Reservations Changes and Re-bookings (with 20% discount!):  For all departures during this period (for international travelers affected) booked to depart through to 31 May 2020, you can rebook and receive a 20% discount on the rates and mileage.

Fraserway,Compass, Real Value

For all bookings placed between 7 March and 31 May 2020, cancellation fees will be waived if cancelled by 30 April. All bookings scheduled for departure up to and including 31 May can be cancelled without fees or rebooked to any travel date in 2020 or 2021, subject to availability.

Canadream

There are several options to choose from for those travelling to Canada from countries with government travel restrictions, who are booked to pick up any time up to 31 May 2020:

1. Rebook to a future date in the 2020/21 season, where the value of your current booking will be credited to you for use on the new trip, subject to availability. Any special offers given at that time would be carried over, or if a new offer is better, you will receive this. Any increase/decrease in price will be applied to the new booking. All those who choose rebooking will receive a complimentary 500 km pack. If you booked a relocation offer/special offer which is not available for your new selected dates, the supplier will credit the value of the booking to a new booking and any additional charges will be applied to the new booking.

2. Rebook for the 2021/22 season, where the new trip will be priced according to the new vacation date rates. The new early booking offers will be included, and all  those who choose to rebook will receive a complimentary 500 km pack. Change of location/units are also permitted in this rebooking process. You will be charged for any increase in price.

3. Rebook in a different Apollo destination. Those who have booked within this restricted period can also move their booking to another Apollo destination in their own country where they can still travel (Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, UK & Ireland) for travel up to 31st March 2021. The supplier will carry over the value of the existing booking into the new booking at the current exchange rate, any increase in price would be charged to the guest.

4. If you wish to cancel with no rebooking, all cancellation fees will be waived.

Those travelling to Canada from countries with government travel restrictions, who are booked to pick up any time after 1 June 2020, have the following options:

1. You can rebook to a new date in 2020 or 2021, as outlined above in options 1-3. 

2. You can cancel your booking. The standard cancellation fee will be applied, but this fee can be credited to a new booking booked before 31 January 2021.

All rebooking and cancellation options above also apply to Canadian residents.

New bookings:

For any new bookings made up to 31 May 2020, for travel from 1 June to 31 October 2020, rebooking to another date will be allowed up to 3 April 2022 (as per rebooking terms above), and you can cancel with no cancellation fee and a full refund.

Meridian RV

For anyone on lockdown or being denied access to Canada, cancellation fees will be waived providing you are scheduled to pick up between now and 30 April.

Happy Holidays

For bookings scheduled to depart in April, cancellation fees will be waived.

For bookings scheduled to depart in May, the cancellation period is shortened to two weeks.

Escape Canada

Free cancellation and amendments are available for any customers affected by travel restrictions.

Motorhome Travel/Pure/Big Sky Canada

Free cancellation and amendments are available for any customers affected by travel restrictions.

Owasco

Standard cancellation fees ($200 + tax) apply. Alternatively you can amend your booking to a future date.

EUROPE

Indie Campers

Cancellations made more than 30 days before your pick up date, your full deposit and balance will be refunded. 

If you cancel within 30 days and up to 48 hours prior to pick up, you will be given a travel voucher to the value of what you’ve paid. This voucher will be valid for a year from the time of cancellation. This can be used toward any Indie Campers vehicle, at any of this supplier’s locations, at the same or higher price as the original booking. No refund will be granted if the cost of the new rental is lower than the voucher. 

If you cancel within 48 hours of your pick up date, a 100% no-show fee will be charged to your card.

Autocaravan Express / Enviro

If you wish to cancel, you can keep your reservation credit toward a future rental.

Camper Iceland 

Rebooking to 2021 or later in 2020 is available free of charge for any booking made by the end of March 2020.

Motorhomes Italy

All those with bookings affected by the government travel ban on unnecessary travel to Italy till 3 April can reschedule their travel dates over the next months free of charge (by deducting the amount paid from the new total amount).

Vanitaly

If you have an existing booking and are unable to travel because of government or airline restrictions, all cancellation fees will be waived.

Bunk UK/IE & Apollo FR & DE

For those currently on hire:

Please return to your depot immediately. Apollo Europe depots are closing with immediate effect.

For those with bookings with pick up between now and the end of April, there are 4 options.

1. You can now rebook in your original country of travel for May, June, September or October 2020 dates, in the same vehicle for the same number of nights (subject to availability), at no extra cost. The April nightly rate will apply. Alternatively, you can rebook to a future date in the 2020/21 season, in the original country of travel. The value of your current booking will be credited to you to use on your new trip, subject to availability. Change of location/units are also permitted in this rebooking process. Any special offers given at that time would also be carried over, or if a new offer was better you would receive the better option. Any increase/decrease will be applied to the new booking. If you booked a relocation offer/special offer which is not available for your new selected dates, we will credit the value of the booking to a new booking and any additional charges will be applied to the new booking.

2. Rebook to a future date in the 2021/22 season. The new trip details will be repriced based on the new prices for the 2021/22 season, giving the new early booking offers for the new dates of travel. Change of location/units are also permitted in this rebooking process. The supplier will carry over the value of your existing booking into the new booking. You will be charged for any increase in price. 

3. Rebook in a different Apollo destination. Those within this restricted period can move their booking to another Apollo destination in their own country where they can still travel (Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, UK & Ireland) for travel up to 31 March 2021. The value of your existing booking will be carried over into the new booking at the current exchange rate. Any increase in price will be charged to you. 

4. If you wish to cancel without rebooking, the supplier will waive cancellation fees.

For bookings from 1 May 2020 onwards:

You can rebook to a new date in the 2020/21 or 2021/22 season. Alternatively, you can cancel your reservation, and standard cancellation terms and conditions will apply.

If you have fully prepaid your booking but wish to cancel:

The supplier will issue a credit note against your cancelled booking and no cancellation fee will be charged. This credit can be used for a future booking for travel up to 31 June 2021. Any Bunk Campers Early Bird discount will not be applied against this credit note. This credit note is only available for pre-paid bookings.

Just Go

For all existing and new bookings until further notice, you can now change your booking for free. If there is a difference in fare between your current booking and your new booking, you must pay this. If you would like to amend your travel dates but aren’t yet sure of suitable replacement dates, you can be issued a voucher for the value of your current booking. This voucher will be valid toward a future hire within 12 months of your current holiday start date.

Cancellations:

Up to 6 weeks prior to pick up: You can postpone your holiday free of charge. If you cancel, you will lose your deposit only.

6 weeks to 2 weeks prior to pick up: You can postpone your holiday free of charge. If you cancel, you will receive a 50% refund.

2 weeks up to date of collection: No special offers for those who do not give at least 2 weeks notice.

Those due to pick up between now and 6 April 2020:

Please contact your supplier directly, as you will be eligible for flexible cancellation terms.

Spaceships

For bookings between 1 March and 30 April, when you are travelling to/from a country with official travel restrictions, you have two cancellation options: 1. Cancel your booking using the normal cancellation policy, then claim from your travel insurance. 2. Make your payment in full and receive a voucher from Spaceships for the full value of your booking. For bookings after 30 April, normal cancellation fees apply.

McRent / Pure

Cancellation:

If you wish to cancel your booking, normal cancellation fees apply.

Rebooking:

You can postpone your trip free of charge to a later date within the same calendar year. The price of the new booking must be at least as high as the price of the original booking. 

Cancellation + Credit for new booking: 

If you would like to postpone your trip to a later date within the same calendar year but are not yet sure when you’d like to travel, you can have your cancellation fees credited toward a new booking. The price of the new booking must be at least as high as the price of the original booking.

Rent Easy

Cancellation:

This policy applies to all bookings with a pick up date on or before 19 April 2020. For those travelling after these date, there are currently no special cancellation / rebooking conditions.

Touring Cars

If your booked departure date is prior to the end of May 2020, you are entitled to postpone your travel dates. New dates will be subject to availability and must be requested before the end of June 2020. Travel times for postponed bookings end 31 December 2020. 

In case of cancellation, Touring Cars holds the right to apply their regular cancellation policy. All postponed bookings are subject to 100% cancellation fee, regardless of the amended travel dates.

DRM, Compass

Bookings with a travel date up until April 19 2020 can be cancelled free of charge.

Euromotorhome / Big Sky

If you are affected by the travel restrictions stemming from COVID-19, you can use your full booking credit towards a future booking. This amount will be held on file against your current booking, and the supplier will work with you to set new travel dates for some time in the next two years.

New bookings confirmed from today are entitled to free cancellation, with 100% reimbursement of monies paid.

Southcamper

If your booking is affected by official travel restrictions, no cancellation fee will apply. You can also shift your booking from the first half of 2020 to the second half of 2020 without further costs (though new rates may apply) depending on vehicle availability.

Black Sheep

No refunds are currently being offered. Bookings will be postponed, with every customer offered credit toward a future travel date (no date limitation).

Petroni

Generally, standard cancellation terms apply, though for existing bookings where the customer is unable to travel because of government or airline restrictions, cancellation fees are being waived. This is valid from 17 March to 15 May 2020.

Campilider & Energi Rebrand

Those who cancel can receive a 100% refund of monies paid. Alternatively, you can rebook for other dates in 2020.

Anywhere Campers

If you have an existing booking and cannot travel due to the COVID-19 outbreak, you can choose one of the two following options:

Either postpone your trip until a later date in 2020 or 2021 free of charge

Or receive a voucher which can be used for your own future rental or transferred to another person, with no amendment fee charged.

If you are still in the process of booking your camper for the 2020 season, please be aware of the current cancellation policy:

Your booking can be postponed or changed to a later date this year, or a date in 2021, without penalty. Your booking can also be cancelled free of charge up until 14 days prior to your pick up date.

Campeasy

You can amend your booking to any future date free of charge. Those who choose to rebook or freeze their booking (ie holding on to your booking and choose an alternative date another time) will receive the following:

Europcar Motorhome Rental Iceland

If you cancel your booking more than one week prior to your pick up date, there will be no cancellation charges. If you cancel your booking less than one week prior to pick up, then you will be charged 90% of your rental amount.

Easi Campervans

For those who wish to postpone their travel, you can either rebook to a future date up to 12 months from now or receive a credit note for the full amount paid to date. 

Those who wish to cancel a booking made through this site must do so directly with the Motorhome Republic team. Please contact your travel insurance to see if you are able to claim a refund via this means, if you think you will not be able to travel at any future point.

Rockin' Vans

Cancellations:

Standard cancellation fees apply for all bookings, however you do have the option of putting your booking on hold, so you can take your holiday at a later time.

Enhanced flexibility:

If you wish to defer your travel to a later date but are unsure of exact dates, you can use your full credit toward your future booking. This amount will be held against your current booking, and the supplier will work with you to set alternative travel dates in the coming weeks or months.

Rebook:

If you wish to rebook with new dates in the immediate future, the value of your current booking can be used as a credit towards your new booking.

If you cancel your booking 30 days or more before your pick up date, you will be charged 25% of the total rental price.

If you cancel between 7-29 days before your pick up date, you will be charged 50% of the total rental price.

If you cancel between 0-6 days before your pick up date or fail to show up, your cancellation fee will amount to 100% of the total rental price.

For those who wish to amend their bookings to a future date within 6 months of their current pick up date, the standard 50 EUR amendment fee will be waived. The total amount of your original booking can be used as credit toward your future booking - you will only have to pay the extra, if the next rental is more expensive. If the cost of the new booking is less than the original, you will not receive a refund. Amendment must be confirmed with a minimum notice of 24 hours prior to the original starting time of the booking, otherwise it will be treated as a no show.

If you are not able to reach South Africa due to flights not operating, or you are diagnosed with COVID-19 (proof required) then you are able to rebook for a later date.

For any cancellations made before 15 March 2020, standard cancellation policies will apply.

For any cancellation requested from 16 March 2020 with a pick up date from 16 March 2020 to 30 June 2020, no cancellation fees will apply.

Those who wish to rebook to a future date within 12 months of your current booking can change dates at no charge, at the same rate.
